India to Unveil Honor 90 5G Smartphone With 200MP Camera on September 14
Honor 90 5G Launch: After recently announcing its entry into India, smartphone brand Honor on Thursday announced the launch date of its latest handset Honor 90 5G in the country. According to the company, the Honor 90 5G will be launched on September 12, which is two days after the Apple iPhone 15 launch event.

The Honor 90 5G will debut in India on September 14, and the launch event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM. IST. The company has already sent media invitations to the event. The company has also confirmed that the Honor 90 5G smartphone is available for purchase on Amazon’s online shopping platform. According to reports, the price of the new Honor 90 could be around Rs 40,000 in India.

The company has also created a microsite on Amazon that reveals the specifications of the Honor 90 5G. The smartphone has been confirmed to run on the Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 operating system. The device has a triple camera setup including a 200MP main camera and a 50MP front camera. Honor said it offers a clean user experience, avoiding bloatware and offering a smooth, stable interface with Magic OS 7.1.
With MagicOS 7.1, users can control their Honor laptop, smartphone and tablet with a single keyboard and mouse using HonorShare. HonorShare allows Honor 90 5G users to transfer cross-system files between their Honor smartphone and PC using Honor Computer Manager.
In addition, multi-screen collaboration allows users to share their screen, keyboard and mouse between different devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
The global variant of the Honor 90 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging.
The Indian variant is expected to feature similar specifications. According to reports, the device will also offer 4K video recording with 10X digital zoom.
